We are a leading partner in the Forum on Judaism and Social Justice. Member organizations draw inspiration from Jewish tradition to shape a Zionist vision in which the pursuit of social justice is a central mission of the state. Civil society, in turn, bears responsibility to encourage and support state institutions in ensuring a life of dignity for all residents.
The Forum’s peak activity is the Social Justice Week, held annually around the Torah portion Behar.
The Forum strengthens the unique voices of each member organization while amplifying collective work for justice rooted in Jewish sources. It meets several times a year, leads Social Justice Week with events nationwide, and publishes position papers on social and economic justice in Jewish thought.
